Adventure

Lately I've been thinking about the concept of ADVENTURE. It is mostly due to an incredible BYUI devotional given this summer: The Value of Adventure by Scott Wood (one of the coolest people EVER). I've been pondering this because I realize I need more adventure in my life.

Adventure:
n
1.a risky undertaking of unknown outcome
2.an exciting or unexpected event or course of events
3.obsolete
a. danger or misadventure
b. chance
vb (foll by into, on, upon )
5.to take a risk or put at risk
6.to dare to go or enter (into a place, dangerous activity, etc)
7.to dare to say (something): he adventured his opinion
aventure(later altered to adventure after the Latinspelling), via Old French ultimately from Latin advenīre to happen to (someone), arrive
