So Elise and I had quite an adventure yesterday! We decided we wanted to take a trip out to the temple here in London. Or so we thought it was "here in London." Three tube stations, a 45 minute train ride, and an hour walk in the rain LATER... we finally made it. It turns out the temple is out in Lingfield. However, the area is beautiful! It was the English countryside I've always imagined. It was positively delightful! (Until we had to walk through the grass and weeds.) We finally made it to the temple, but just barely missed the opportunity to go and do baptisms. Instead we sat in the foyer of the basement and read for awhile. It was still an incredible experience. It was just what I needed to get "out of the world" and spend time in the Lord's house. I'm so grateful for this gospel and the blessings of peace it brings! One of the sweet temple workers found out we had walked all the way from the train station (in the rain) and offered us a ride back. We were SO grateful! It sure was an answer to a prayer!
All in all it was a wonderful experience! Both of us were uplifted by the temple, and the beautiful area. But boy were we pooped when we finally got back!

Sounds like you are having quite the adventure. I'm glad you made it to the temple, even though it was a long trip getting there. Looks like you are having a good amount of rain. Sure glad you took your rain jacket. Tell your new friend hello. I'm glad she is there so you both have someone to hang out with.
The weather has turned hot here. It was 90 yesterday. I guess we should plan for a hot summer. The kids have two weeks left of school, so things are winding down for them.
Brittany had a fun time at her Color Me Mine party. We got the piece yesterday,they turned out cute. Thanks for the idea, it was a great place to go. Brandon even wants to go back. Just not with 16 girls. He was a real trooper though.
We had a nice weekend in Logan visiting grandma and grandpa last weekend. Seemed a little strange not to have any of the girls there. Randy and Sherri went to Houston for a few days this last week. They were going to help in Holli's class and then go play. I'm sure it was lots of fun for them.
How are you doing? Is your back feeling better? I'm glad you are getting to see some of the sights in London. It is an interesting place. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Did you have a chance to go back to the temple!? I've done a couple baptisms in the San Diego temple and might go to the LA temple next weekend... if all works out. I've decided I want to travel to all the temples! lol!! Four down! Just over a hundred more to go! ;) Love ya!
